Wrightsville Beach Scenic Tours and The Cape Fear Naturalist, Wilmington's Local eco-tourism company, are proud to announce the advent of a new series of nature tours focused on understanding the Unique Ecosystems of Southeastern North Carolina. Trip destinations can include: the Green swamp (carnivorous plant id), Town Creek (Black Water Cypress), Masonboro Island and Hutaff Island (Shorebird Ecology and ID) The program goal is to raise local conservation awareness about these sensitive habitats and wildlife that occur in southeastern North Carolina.

Guided Environmental Education Cruises
Come join us while we explore wonder of Cape Fear's local barrier islands, creeks and inlet waterways. A trained naturalist guide will point out the unique features and answer questions. Includes: Guide fee, bathroom facilities, soft drinks, shell bags. Eco-Cruise tours last two hours in duration, and are aboard a specially rigged 26ft catamaran boat. Trips will leave from Blockade Runner in Wrightsville Beach. Eco-Cruises are appropriate for individuals, couples, families and other groups.

Kayak Tours
We offer daily Kayak Eco- tours of Wrightsville Beach, Masonboro Island, Hutaff Island and Town Creek. Tours will include: Kayak (single or tandem), trained kayak instructors, and last two hours in duration.
Pricing (Min of 3 people):
$55 per person
Please note: Reservation for all programs is required and must be secured with a credit card. A 20% gradituty for instructors, crew and captain will be charged with all education tours and programs. Masonboro Island Environmental Education Program
Wrightsville Beach Scenic Tours and the Cape Fear Naturalist offers youth and adult environmental programs on Masonboro Island, one of the largest undisturbed barrier islands on the coast of North Carolina, designed to teach about the diverse ecology of the coastal Carolina.
